The word “sudaca” as defined by the Dictionary of the Spanish language of the Royal Spanish Academy, is a derogatory term used in Spain to refer to the natives of South America. In an ironic context, some South American may use this term to refer to itself them. Thus, in 1988, a group of Spanish and South American women living in Spain created the collective “Sudacas Reunidas, SA” to combat discrimination of South American women in Spain. So let´s combat discrimination everywhere with music and after i began to hear some Latin-American records in my collection i couldn’t stop and the result was this mix with some Brazilian songs inside but almost 100% Iberian American tunes, yes like in Caetano Veloso´s song “Soy Loco Por Tí América” i am Loco too and put some records to rotate in my turntables! enjoy that!
